It was a great honour to last night officially launch an exhibition of portraits of 12 Noongar leaders at the Perth Town Hall. The Exhibition was commissioned by the City of Perth in consultation with local Elders to celebrate their lives and the incredible contribution they have each made to the community of Perth. I paid special tribute to Hazel Winmar, who sadly passed away in August of this year at the age of 100. If anyone would like a copy of the catalogue of portraits sent to them please let me know and ill post one out.
