It was a great time out there yesterday at farewell.... thanx to juniors and all who made the day special. Well,this is what we are going to take with us-the memories-the unforgettable memories.. I would to like to recount some memories of the last 3 and a half year so far... ( be patient while reading bcoz I know it is a bit lengthy ;) :P) When I came here,it was a complete new environment for all of us who came here form other states.. we had no idea about how to deal with the people here and all that.. and for the first two weeks while attending lectures,there was a complete overhead transmission of everything which was being spoken around us in Punjabi... we had no clue to what was going around us in lectures and we used to look at each other with surprised faces :P Well,that was the true test of our patience,but in due course of time we got used to it and overcame the linguistic barrier to a great extent.. We were fortunate to have got such a cooperative team of teachers in our department.. I still remember the day when one of our friend was admitted in civil hospital in Moga,when one of our teacher, Manvi mam, came to know about this,on that very day,she came to visit him at the hospital.It really meant a lot to us ,we never really had expected that.It was so nice of her :) Now,coming to the sweetest mam in our department.. Baldip mam.. who always used to compare CSE1 with CSE 2.. and she always ended up saying tumhari class saath wali class se jyada intelligent hai :D and whenever we used to make noise she used to say chup kark baith jao nai to maine tumhari beizzati kar deni hai (jaise hume hamare izzat ki kitni parwah thi ;) :P ) Now coming to the most punctual and rule-driven teacher of CSE department -S.S Gill sir.. People copy dialogues,but he was the one who created them..like abhi v time h padhna shuru kar do nai to patte saaf ho jane h tumhare . and when students made noise during lectures he used to say khud bahar jaoge ya mai bahar phenkun.. :P There are still many more to mention but these will always remain fresh in our memories :) and congrates to Shivangini for getting crowned as Ms. Farewell yesterday which must have made your day even more special.. :) The last thing which didnt happen yesterday that nobody cried actually,there were no tears around,perhaps that was due to the fact that nobody could really realize that such a sweet journey has come to an end so quickly,in no matter of time.. Anyways wish you all the very best for the coming future and keep smiling :) :)
