It was a great turnout at the DC Vigil for Pakistan this (last) evening. I ran into soooo many people from the Pakistani American community as well as from others there to stand in solidarity and remembrance of our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. I wish the reunion were under other circumstances. :/ But it was uplifting to see so many come out and share tears, prayers and messages of hope with each other and with the people in Pakistan who will receive those messages within these next couple days through myself and through the other media outlets that were there braving the cold. To those of you who I got to hug and share a few smiles and words with for just a few seconds after so long, Im so sorry! I wish we could catch up but I was on a deadline shooting/running around like a chicken with its head cut off and I hope to catch up with my wonderful friends very soon and under much better circumstances bringing us together.
