It was a huge success at The MEAL Nigeria of The MEAL International global event here in Nigeria on Saturday September 21st 2013.The International NGO which has its headquarter in Geneva Switzerland under the leadership of the International President Michel Baumann commemorate the United Nation International Peace Day with the theme 'EDUCATION FOR PEACE' at Powerline beside Baale Rights Office Abekoko Ifo Local Government Featured at the event was a Peace forum with Traditional rulers, community leaders,Farmers,Youth,ALFAN Ifo and Women during which the yearnings of the participants was noted for necessary follow up.Educational material (Exercise Books) was distributed to children,a unique meal OFADA Rice was shared with love The traditional rulers expressed their feelings on the incessant attitude of the Politicians they said the event would not have been successful if it was a political gathering by the promised and failed politicians,the farmers expressed lack of Government support and improper disbursement of acclaimed loans to farmers. Good numbers of participants developed interest to join The MEAL Nigeria,the door is however open to qualified ones
