It was a lovely low-key Christmas, just what I like. The kids loved their gifts, which is always satisfying; I got tickets to the symphony and a play, so I get to enjoy Christmas for several months to come; a perfect long walk with my dad, yorkshire puddings which puffed beautifully, and now ending the day with Santaland diaries with the kids. Youre never too young for David Sedaris, right? I hope you all had a day similarly filled with the things and people you love, and get to have some slow post-Christmas days.
