It was a quiet night in the Knowlton household!!!!! There must have been a chase at some point, but those rascals knew they would be in trouble if they disturbed us...the old water bottle!!!! Dreadful!!! One of my cactus had a limb broken off and in mega pieces! One of the shades in one of the picture windows in the breakfast room was pushed up some...guess they wanted to take a midnight stroll in the windowsill! I did not stick my nose out the door to bring in the cat bowl last night! This morning Flighty was perched on the edge of the bowl eating...boy he sure is looking plump...guess the protein in the cat food is keeping him warm! He had better watch it...to heavy...kitty snack!! Ouch!!!!! Ok, back to the wayward kitties!!!! When I got up Rascal came out of the guest bedroom, Max about 3 steps behind him (wow, now they can not stand to be close on any other day...must be plotting something! Watch out SimonBoy...they seem to be ganging up on ya!). About 12 steps behind Max came Miss Kitty. Rascal and Max were in front of me...they got to the table in the living room where the treat container is and they sat down! Hummmm, plotting...or they learned real quick!...Miss Kitty came in behind me, and sat down with the other two! Treat time? Ok, I get the message...yall didnt spill any blood or guts during the night and you want a treat! Seems fair to me!!!! There still maybe hope for the four of these kitties to actually live under the same roof! And yes, again Nick and I agreed...NO MORE CATS!!! We have ENOUGH! I told him there were not any more strays out there! At least that we have been able to get close to other than Flip and Flop...I think they belong to someone and just come to play and snack from the food bowl! Good thing...no more vacancies at the Knowltons. Geeish....gonna get a reputation of cat people...to late! Kitties are playing...three of them! SimonBoy is still snuggled under the dresser, but I would not be surprised if Rascal made it his business to go in there and try to take SimonBoys spot! Ya know, just for the sake of doing it...top cat syndrome!!!!! Max is so thin...I have started giving him a can of canned cat food in the mornings...Miss Kitty and Rascal dont like it because they cant have any...they have sensitive tummies...Max doesnt! Four kitties!!!! What ARE we thinking? Rascal was being ugly to SimonBoy last evening with Max and Miss Kitty watching. I reminded each of them of their before here existence: Rascal-just a few short weeks ago he was out in the elements, Miss Kitty-was outside with a litter of kittens...taken to the adoption center, and Max was in a warehouse being chased by the workers and he didnt have much food or water! Yes, they each had a stormy start before coming under our roof! Well, I think there is to much excitement for them to go to Kitty Dreamland right now...eventually... But I hear them chattering...saying Happy A Very Nice Meow Day!
