It was a sad day yesterday but also a celebration for our friend David. I am of course empty with the knowledge we cannot be in Davids presence anymore, but I come away from the funeral and wake feeling inspired and refreshed, for meeting friends, for music making, for band organising, for music sharing and teaching and for spreading love and kindness. Thank you so much David for that…. and thank you also Slimma and all of Makating for inspiring me so much when I was but a wee boy.
