It was a shivering evening in winter. We both were sitting on a bench which was lying beside the boulevard of a nearby park in our locality. After a daylong hide and seek with winter the sun had gone somewhere in lofty hideaway. Emptiness stretched out all over the park to accompany our loneliness. Cold breeze was shambling across the lawn kissing velvet grasses softly. Colorful bedding flowers were nodding to welcome an another dreamy night. Whispering of leafy boughs were chanting a smooth music in surroundings. The shimmering moonlight behind the screening of a huge Banyan tree standing in the corner of the park shined your retiring beauty bewitching. Glittering lights of towering building outside beautified the situation in deep romantic sense. Some squirrels were running up and down the small tree near the bench eavesdropping our plaintive talks. Apparently, ignoring you due to my involvement in somewhere was your frantic worry. We were there to resolve that. You were looking awesome as usual in snug fitting winter outfits. A gloom on your charming face was making me apprehensive. We had been just sitting in silent mode for long after a formal hello maintaining an unbearable some inches gap. You gazed me in anger, I was staring at you in confession. After a small mute you broke down, your both cascade started pouring. Sometimes impossible to bear up against your tears, my eyes also melted down. It might be my cruelty but I didnt wipe your tears off. I knew my logic couldnt mollify you, just these pearly tears can unload your heart. We kept on silence only our drops from eyes were talking to each other to accord an agreement. Our eyes rained and rained. Silence overwhelmed all around the park. After a long watery moments you effaced that inches gap and nestled on my shoulder, I wiped off your eyes with tender touches, patted you and laid my head on yours rendering my arm to support you for a calm nap. Now the ambience was like a clean sky after a heavy rain. P.S- SOME TIME ONLY OUR TEARS CAN HEAL THE PAIN NOTHING ELSE CAN PERSUADE OUR WORRIES. -Nikhil [
