It was a sizzling sweltering sunny Sunday in South Edmond Oklahoma. I was shuffling laundry between machines when she came in .... A silver haired sharply dressed sweet little old lady in her sixties. She fumbled and fussed with the machine that dispense the cards in the new cashless laundry systems. Only to discover, that it was out of cards. The office being closed,... And sensing t her level of distress... I asked her if she would like to use mine . . I had $6 on and tell her to go ahead and use it . She used it while I carry my laundry back to my room . She return at me with a a nod and a wink.... Thanked me, and said goodbye. Dont mention it maam its what people do I couldnt help but smile and laugh as I did my last load in the dryer, and Noted that she had put 20 on my card. People... Got to love them.
