It was a three-hour team race on Saturday morning and I was fortunate enough to have Dick Burleson as a teammate! He had done two laps before I got on and crashed, not even completing three minutes of the three hour race! Sorry to let you down King Richard. The race was a combination of dirt and pavement and I was on the pavement when I started to crash and slid onto the dirt during the crash and that was the end of my race weekend at the 2014 Oklahoma Gold Rush. I stayed for BBQ and autographs that evening and then Tank and I drove home! Got an x-ray on Sunday and saw a doctor on Monday and another doctor on Tuesday and finally found Dr. Laverty on Wednesday who did the surgery yesterday! aussts
