It was a very good sporting weekend for Abigale Lawton, daughter of Lifetimers Tracey and Kevin. On Saturday she ran in the South Yorkshire Under 17 cross country relay race with two of her friends from Barnsley AC and they came second - and therefore in the medals. Sunday was the Barnsley Hospice Cannon Hall Run over 10 kilometres. Abigale had entered it for the first time last year and she was determined to better her time this year. She thought it may be hard to do, taking into consideration her exertions the previous day, but she set off at a steady pace and finished 123rd overall, 18th in the women, and 1st in the U17 category with a time of 53.22, knocking 10.21 of last years time. Well done Abigale! To celebrate she went up to Xscape and had a hours snowboarding!!
