It was a winter morning as usual. Two brothers and sisters are sitting face to face. Elder brother Majedur Rahman is reading out loud from text books and younger sister Masuda Akter is listening to the reading. This is the way Masuda studies as both her eyes have lost their sights. But Masuda was not visually impaired by birth. Nor had she lost her eye sight at any accident or disease. Acid thrown by a hoodlum has destroyed her life. But burning of different parts of her body along with the eye sight could not curtail her undaunted spirit.
