It was an honour to give the Occasional Address at a University of Tasmania graduation on Thursday night in Hobart. I spoke about the wonderful stories Tasmanians tell, the literature and art that draw from those stories and the need for a Tasmanian Studies Centre to understand and promote Tasmanias unique culture.
