It was an overwhelmingly defensive affair at the PMC for the Petes final pre-season tun-up on Wednesday night against the North Bay Battalion. The Troops opened up the scoring 39 minutes and 27 seconds into the game that was controlled by keepers of the crease Jason Da Silva and Jake Smith. The Petes battled back, though, scoring three goals off the sticks of Josh Maguire, Steve Lorentz, and Josh MacDonald in the final half of the third period to complete the comeback. Make sure you get your tickets for the 2014/15 Home Opener against the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday, September 25 at 7:05pm!
