It was another big day in Maungakiekie with visits to ECE centres in Pt England, Onehunga and a public meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Bill English in Otahuhu. Thanks to Rev Leiite and Lealofi Setefano and their team at Aoga a le Teuila for a wonderful morning of fellowship with your beautiful pre-schoolers. There were many parents who together made it a memorable day where the home made pork & chop suey on offer was delicious! I also enjoyed the company of Malia Hamani, Rev. Palu and the children & parents at Fakatouato Language School in Onehunga. The cultural items were a real highlight as was the opening of the new IT room on site. Finally we had a fruitful meeting with the Deputy PM who talked about the governments focus on jobs, looking after our vulnerable families and managing our budget. It is about delivering on the things that matter to New Zealanders like employment, education, health and law order.
