It was another productive day here.. Since Ive not had Delilah the past couple of days it was a great opportunity to take the time to work in the garden and do some spring cleaning! Im sure the Wii is going to question me tomorrow why Ive not used it in 5 days, but heres what Im going to say.. Well, besides cleaning all my gardens, today I planted carrots, cabbage, kale, chives, dill, lemon grass, more kohlrabi & lettuce. Then I hung out four loads of laundry, cleaned out one of my lower sheds which was ridiculously filled to the brim with crap. Dug out some compost from the back, spread that in the garden, repaired the front of the driveway where a flower bed was but now gone because of the snow plows. Threw out so much garbage load after load. Funny thing was, my garbage pickup isnt until Thursday. I put several bags and boxes of garbage out earlier in the day and when I went to put more, all of my garbage was gone! HUH? What was the best part of the day? Taking my first outdoor shower of the season! I could have stayed in there for an hour enjoying the hot water and cool air above me. Next... off to give a presentation to a Holistic Moms group! :D
