It was around midnight last night when I let the dogs out for their last constitutional, my mind idly was free wheeling and considering how it was not as chilly as previous evenings. The dogs were snufflling around and doing their final perimeter patrols, as is their normal habit, so I knew that they wouldnt be interested in going back indoors until they had checked it all at least twice. My eyes slowly raised up over the top of the barn, when I suddenly noticed it. I have seen it before on other occasions but not all of the time, perhaps it needs a certain weather condition. Facing towards the neighbouring village of Strelets I could see what I can only describe as a small searchlight beam shining onto the bottom of the lowering clouds, sweeping in a circular pattern from I assume a central point. I have no idea on what it is, there has been no talk in the village of someone summoning Batman, or livestock becoming the victims of alien abduction, so what do you think that it could be?
