It was bound to happen..Cash is terribly sick.. He is improving now but we are still not in the clear...I woke up at 3 in the morning on mothers day and have been caring for him ever since! The crazy part is is that we contacted the pediatrician on call at Sanford and his advice was to bring him to the ER...I refused .. I know my kid, I know what he like when he gets like this, those drs know nothing about him nor do I want to expose my son to more infections.. I have 24 hour nursing and all the equipment here at my home like they would have in the hospital .. All I needed was bactrim (antibiotic) they refused and wanted me to go in..I even asked for a direct admit to the peds department and they still said no..go to the ER...we said screw them and called Dr Fugate, Cashs dr at the childrens hospital.. He waited 24 hours to make sure it wasnt viral and then on Monday morning called in every med he needed! He is improving but still on the vent with a fever.. He gets like this.. I have seen it a lot .. It comes with his brain injury and the horrible teething... The sad part is is that the Sanford drs didnt trust me....they didnt trust mom...they have never seen my son! Its believed that Sanford more than likely charted me for not bringing him into them ..Sanford does not like it of they dont get business and another thing ,. Sanford does not send kids home on vents!! :(Why must it always be so difficult .. They can garnish your paycheck but not issue a simple antibiotic... My poor baby... But at the end of the day.. His parents knew best...we always know best!! And Im pretty tired .. (sigh) Lol .....be blessed homeslices and dont forget to say your prayers!!!
