It was by faith It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith. ( Hebrews 11:7) I can only imagine the type of faith it took Noah to have to build a large boat. People mocking him and to even add that he was a preacher of righteousness. He obeyed and listened to YAH. He had faith even though the flood didnt come tomorrow. Talk about a huge leap of faith. When YAH tells you to do something, you do it. He and only 7 other people in his family was saved from YAHs wrath. The people did not want to hear about righteousness of YAH. They wanted to create god in their image and do what thou wilt. No different than today. I am sure Noah was deemed as crazy by many for building it. I am sure he had others who came along the journey but fell by the way side and did not stick it out with him.Yet, we know to obtain any type of righteousness, one must have faith. To even build such an ark, he had to walk the walk and talk the talk. I am sure at times, his wife did not understand. I am sure that his family did not understand but check this out... those who did the will of YAH were saved. Did not YAHUSHUA say, those who do the will of my Heavenly Father I call brother or sister or mother? ( Luke 8:21) I am sure there was a dividing sword when it came to preaching the truth and righteousness with the wickedness of that world. In which that wickedness is likened to our time but our time will far proceed it. Noah and his family were saved. Which means his mother or other family members there was a dividing sword because of righteousness and obedience to YAH. Thus we have a result in the wheat and tares being separated. We have the sayings of our beloved YAHUSHAUA in Luke 12:51- 53. Even the parable of the wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24-30) Never feel bad for doing the will of YAH and being obedient. For anything you put before YAHUVEH is an idol, be it a person, place or thing. In our obedience, it shows our faith, trust and love to YAH but also doing in HIS in hearing one day well done thy good and faithful servant.
