It was certainly a long day but I did get a ton of the decorations done this weekend =) The Photo prop banner is done,the birthday banner done,the menu gravestones for the tables of food done,the invites for Devins school buddies done,the blood covered table clothe done...so I dont think I did bad this weekend. Still have the pallet to do which a friend is gonna work on that I just have to get the hands painted that will be sticking threw the pallet when its done,and also have to do the doors that say Dont open dead inside! that is a popular thing in the Walking Dead show,and I have to do the cups for the punch yet,doing those with bloody splats on the outside. The napkins and balloons are ordered since I couldnt find them anywhere,but got them dirt cheap online with free shipping,I also ordered 2 life size zombies for the photo prop area and got them on clearance. So far I have hardly spent anything to pull off this birthday party which is good on a tight budget lol. Making the decorations saved us a bunch of money and it was fun,may just do this every year =) Now to check out the salvage stores and see how much I can save on food items for the party,and I think that about covers it all except birthday gift shopping for Devin. Oh and do the outside decor,I got 99% of it done inside just a few more light strands to hang and then its done. Not looking forward to doing the outside,its too dang cold out there!!! Guess I should get my bum to bed soon,looking forward to Devins 4 day weekend coming up
