It was discovered today that Maksim has a small hole in his colon (caused by everything going on inside of him). This is likely what triggered his entire decline. Due to the hole, hes leaking bacteria from his colon thats poisoning his entire body. The ideal action would be to perform surgery to close it but its too risky to take him to surgery, find the hole & repair it ... his risk for not making it through the process in his current condition is too high. Obviously with a hole in his colon, the toxicity is going to be an ongoing problem. So he needs to get rid of these infections and get stable enough to go into surgery. If he starts leaking actual stool into his dialysis fluid then it will require immediate surgery, regardless of whether he is stable. Were standing firm and believing that his system & antibiotics will clear out these infections immediately, that there will be no additional leakage and that his hole would be miraculously closed.
