It was entirely unintentional. It just happened. Before it there - TopicsExpress

It was entirely unintentional. It just happened. Before it there was nothing, then all of a sudden there was something. What was it? It didn’t know. Where was it? It didn’t know that either and, in the same instance as making these realisations, acknowledged that it also didn’t know how or why it was. It only knew one thing with absolute certainty: It was. The uncertainty of everything else rippled throughout its being and pulsed repeatedly, like a heartbeat, but it never became repetitious. Its frequency seemed to be more rhythmic than monotonous and, although this amnesia seemed to be omnipresent, it became a motive. Non-secular influences once repressed the very nature of existence by warning men and women that curiosity killed cats. It did, but the warning was incomplete. It shouldn’t have been a warning at all, more of a reminder, that the same curiosity also created said cat. The comprehension of this, being reminded and not warned, remedies the amnesia one experiences while they’re busy trying to exist. Furthermore, it suggests, rather appealingly, that true, absolute satisfaction will be obtained when one ceases to exist. Then, the amnesia will disappear and so, logically, only then will we remember. Death allows us to live.
