It was exactly a month ago that my wonderful and ever supportive mother passed on to glory. Mama was a great person with unusual love for God and unparalleled compassion for humanity when she was here. My memory of her about honesty, dedication to worthy missions, and frankness in addressing issues will always remain unbroken, and at the same time avalanche of drawing strength and inspiration. Mama was a gem of immeasurable value and pillar of support to the entire family, especially my humble self. As painful as the reality of her passing has remain, I’m particularly happy that my mother lived a worthy and meaningful life. Even though she had no excess wealth and still have to battled with stroke for about 16 months before her passing at the ripe age of 80 years, mama was truthful in her tithe to God (As shown in her record in the Church), she owed no single person in cash or material things. And above all, she was faithful to God till her last breath. Maami, plenty thanks for given me life and all the support that have made me whom and what I am today. Thanks for the good foundation and home training, thanks for the sacrifice of your many personal comfort for my happiness, thanks for all your wise counselling (Even though sometime very hard), and thanks for your faith in me and my dream. I will never disappoint your legacy and everything you stood for. And if by any chance, people do see their love ones in the great beyond, kindly say HELLO to Baba (My lovely father), Samson and Ola (My elder brothers). Tell them never to worry, I’m taking charge of the family affairs pretty well, Even though Nigeria economy and political landscape is yet to improve significantly from last time they were here. But Almighty God has been sufficiently wonderful to me. Adieu Mama!
