It was extremely real fun having all my grandchildren around me last night! Thank you Ellis for driving your family a long way from Longmont to here in Northglenn, so that Camila could kiss her Lolo more than a couple of times. I overheard Jelicha-Maria, the youngest aunt, gradually teaching her nieces (Camila, Naomi and Aubrey) respect - the Filipino way. Leklek was saying, Camila, you listen to your Ate Naomi, okay? Because Naomi was close to the couch where I was lying down, I heard Naomi silently responded like, I am Ate? Filipino tradition is not taught like in a formal classroom, Id say it just flows naturally. I told my wife, Elisa this morning, arent our kids real blessings from God?
