It was good to go on a family walk today while Max was soaking. Fridays check up didnt go as planned as Max is experiencing some complications in achieving freedom of movement. The doctors talked about another possible surgery and the therapists told our therapist that this was very common and that sometimes 5 or 6 surgeries are required to get it right. Max made it back just in time to join in his class photo at school. Our hearts have been aching... While at the same time we know that the love that we feel for each other and peace that flows from just having Max at our side is a gift. Friday we hosted a family dance and tried to let go. Saturday & today weve been listening to beautiful General Conference messages from mormon.org and peace has been surrounding us even with 5 other busy kiddos around. Instead of why our question is what is the lesson, God? Help us get the lesson. Help Max find the renewed resolve to continue on.
