It was great to welcome Facebook friend Todd Lytle to our Congregation Tikkun Olam Shabbat Service this week. Congregant Olga Nussbaum led us to a discussion about Israel,Gaza,and Islam. (our cost) These must be ordered and paid for before the hoidays as we will not handle money on the holidays. --we are a non profit (very non profit) organization We are federal and state recognized, as we are a 501C3 and all donation are tax deductable. We are asking for a minimum contribution of a $118 per person--HOWEVER WE WILL NOT TURN PEOPLE AWAY BECAUSE OF MONEY !! .--SO IF YOU CANT AFFORD $118 SEND IN WHAT YOU CAN. THIS YEAR HAS NOT BEEN A GOOD ONE FOR CONGREGATION TIKKUN OLAM OUR DONATIONS WERE DOWN GREATLY --SO I ASK-iF THIS YEAR HAS BEEN GOOD TO YOU AND IF YOU CAN AFFORD MORE PLEASE HELP OFFSET THE COSTS OF THOSE WHO CANT AND HELP THE SHUL TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WE HAVE NO MEMEBERSHIP AND OPERATE SOLELY ON YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS, WHICH ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE. If you can afford more than $118, then please be generous to help us with our costs.
