It was groundhog day for me today! I made more of the same but decided to work on sea turtles at the end of my session. Someone messaged me that they wanted to buy that sad turtle I made a few days ago. That lit a fire in my brain so I made two. The one pictured is my favorite. In fact, it might be my favorite of the day! In the group shot, youll see a dark ivory bead with a shiny leaf like decoration. On the other side of that bead is a turtle thats even sadder than the first one I showed you days ago! The lone mermaid has two sisters that are currently chilling in my freezer. Im hoping theyll slip off the mandrel when theyve grown tired of the artic like conditions. For the record, Im using a different bead release than what Im use to and while it has a stronger hold, the beads dont come off as easily. The smaller beads on either side of her are the same, front and back. No mermaid, just seaweed, a starfish and a wee little shell. The set of 5 dark gold tone beads are testers. I like the way they came out so Ill complete the set with however many it takes to make a full collar. Big, chunky and heavy, just the way I like them!
