It was in 2008 when South Africa woke up to a cancer of barbarism thats sicker than syphillis.Images of human beings on fire(literally).Butchered faces and broken limps covered in blood and little defenceless children crying their eye balls out became a daily sight on television and news papers alike.Have we became such paranoid victims of self-destruction that we maul to the ground the pillars of unity and oneness that have characterised South Africa since 1994?All this over girls, jobs, and a wraped reality that suggests a select type of African is behind all the crime in this country. My quest and appeal is for Africans to be the peace that they want to see in this continent and not be the instrument of destruction on behalf of the coward who uses money to control our communities....To quote Marianne Williamson :Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frighten us.We ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?Actually who are you not to be?You are child of God.Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine,as children do.We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.Its not just in some of us;its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine,we unconciously give other people permission to do the same.As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others
