It was indeed sad to hear from Chief Raymond Kaimachiande this morning about the very serious tragedy that has befallen the Konoyeima family.Alex Konoyeima ,who was the Assistant Director of Lands in the Ministry of Lands suddenly died of heart attack after hearing of his son Dr.Solomon Aiah Konyeima contacted the Ebola Virus and was diagnose .He panic and suddenly died of heart attack because of the bad news, even though he had been afflicted with heart decease symptoms for sometime now,but the panic of the bad news of his sons Ebola,gave him a sudden heart attack.His son Dr, Solomon Aiah Konoyima also died of Ebola few days later after the death of his father. Alex Konoyeimas deceased body is still at the Connaught Hospital in Freetown,after been declared free of Ebola.Plans are currently in place by Chief Raymond Kamaichendeh who is currently in Freetown from Atlanta and other Kono Stakeholders and elders from Kono in Freetown to bring his body down to Kono for burial.The son Dr. Aiah Konoyeima ,who died of Ebola ,body has already been disposed.May their Souls Rest in Perfect Peace. My sympathy to the entire family,home and abroad.
