It was just 2 and a half years ago that I quit streaming music on my silly little internet radio station. Wow. Much has changed in very little time. Many people who know me now would be very surprised to find out about my crazy days on the radio. (Though I do not make it a secret.) Yes, I still do intend to eventually follow up on my promise to start streaming again. Im just waiting for Gods timing. And you can rest assured that the subject matter of my music selection and commentary will be much different. In the meantime, HossTheBoss remains up. And it still gets a surprising number of hits -- inactive though it may be. Lately, Ive been getting a lot of feedback about the interview Charles E. Compton Sr. and I did with Jimi Jamison, the legendary leader of Survivor (among other great bands). With Jimis recent passing, it seems this interview has become a great source of comfort for his fans, friends and family. It is a blessing to have been able to spend that fun, quirky hour on the phone with him. After the interview, Jimi gave me a very sincere invitation to stay in touch with him, and I always intended to do just that. It saddens me that I never did, however.
