It was just a couple of weeks ago I went to the closing ceremony of an Emmaus Walk #238 at our Blue Lake Camp. One of the first ladies said something so profound that it caught my ear like glove catching a ball. I heard her say not to turn out somebodies light. Do you all remember we used to teach our kids the song about that? Im gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. I got to thinking about that just this evening. Let me show you what Im talking about. The young girl I made mention of is a mother of 2 children, one of them 8 yrs. old, and another under one year. She looked like she could use a helping hand but I didnt know how to at the time. I began talking to her to find out what I could. My business allows me to seek out others that may share the same beliefs as I do. It says in Luke 6:37-39;Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. And He also spoke a parable to them; A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit?...
