It was just wonderful in Gods presence yesterday during the first new calabar district power nite after the creation of calabar south district. The crowd was just too much despite the down pour... Starting from the prayer session led by Rev. Ime Akpan and Pastor Emmanuel Nyong. You need to see the presence of God during the worship led by my role model.. Rev. Paul Isanghidha and then the praises by Sis. Blessing, Evang. Aniekan and his singers all the way from Uyo. The Akim international women ministry choir gave a wonderful special number that thril the crowd into dancing, oh my God, you need to see the newly form district youth choir minister a heart touching and soul lifting song led by the district youth musical director.. Pastor Ebenazer Onyi. Then come the choir for the nite, Ikot Abasi international main choir. Our papa, the father of calabar district took over and lead the crowd into a welfare prayers against powers of darkness and evil family alter. He started by saying that life is a battle and we the christian need to fight for if you fail to fight, the devil will use you for pepper soup. God..... We pray and pray and pray that the holy ghost took over the whole building..... Papa then introduce the theme of his message on DONT GIVE UP text from Heb 8:9-10 also Psalm 30:5. Toward the end of the ministration, Papa lead the people into a time of worship and praise just like paul and silas did and chains were broken and at the end thereof, papa recieve a fatherly blessing into the life of calabar district members and beyond.
