It was my birthday yesterday - another milestone one, but we wont go there. Its only a number. I received some really beautiful cards, a gorgeous bouquet from Himself plus some puzzle books (got to keep the braincell in trim) and had a wonderful day at the silk-flower workshop. I left with a reasonable effort Im ridiculously proud of, and very sore fingers. Rolling petals over wire is hard work! Then I bought a necessary new pair of shoes, and in all honesty was glad to meet Himself and come home for a desperately needed cuppa. Then I made an apple cake and we watched a DVD of New Tricks featuring Tim McInnerny as Intelligence man Stephen Fisher. A wonderful day.
