It was my final evening hunt here in Missouri with Creekbottom Whitetail Outfitters. Ive been here 10 days. The weather and changing wind direction has been a hindrance....But as I sat down realizing I had 2 full hours of hunting I knew anything is possible. I go on these hunting trips chasing a dream, pursuing a passion gathering my video to start ONE SHOT TV. I go by the name ONE SHOT not because Im the greatest archery shooter in the country but because the symbolism behind the name ONE SHOT. For me, this is about having a dream, a passion, or aspirations to do something and actually getting up and trying to fullfill the goal. For me, Its hunting. When I go on the hunting trips all I ask for is ONE SHOT, ONE OPPORTUNITY at the animal Im pursuing. One shot or an opportunity is all. I can be happy with that. Tonight, I shot and missed a 160 10point buck. I flat rushed the shot and knew I missed as soon as the arrow left the bow. Now, Ive had encounters with the 150 half rack buck and that was the target after passing on him then realizing he wasnt broke. He just didnt grow as normal. Long story short...I have had more than my ONE SHOT, my ONE OPPORTUNITY. Given the Blessing to stay for one more day hunting by the outfitter...would you stay or would you go? Regardless, Ive been Blessed with these opportunities before me!
