It was on 1999 when Mudhalvan movie was released. I watched that movie at Rathna theater in Mayiladudhurai for the first time. During the interval time they played songs from Indhiyan in 5.1 format.. No video on the screen.. just the audio, but in 5.1. I was amazed by the sound arrangements done by A.R. Rahman. I felt this is the best way to listen to any song.. It was like a dream to me. Finally I figured it out after years later. I am so happy to listen to the same songs in 5.1 format few years later.
