It was on this day back in 1987 that I stopped going to church. Let me rephrase it: It was on this day back in 1987 that I was expelled from a church for refusing to give up my chair to the son of a Pastor who came late to the church. I was called a devil for refusing by the holier-than-thou Pastor of my church. I refused to believe that a Pastor, his wife and kids are VIPs who should be treated like kings. I observed other churches and I saw the same symptoms and concluded that all the churches were the same. The only church which gave me a humane treatment is surprisingly the most hated church by other churches, ZCC. ZCC is the only church I can attend. I was told that I will never pass in school because I dont go to church, but surprisingly, I always took position number 1, even outclassing Christians in Nguda-bivhili(Biblical Studies). I have declared this day to be Freedom Day because thats the day I decided to stop worshipping an individual called a Pastor and stopped going to church.
