It was the Murph n Turf show in Lexington, KY tonight as Tyler Murphy goes 15-18 for 157 yards 1 TD and Matt Jones carries 28 times for 176 yards and a TD leading #Gators to a 24-7 victory over the Wildcats. It was never close.The only score for Kentucky came on a fake field goal. True freshman Vernon Hargreaves lives up to his all world status as he gets his 3rd interception in four games for the Gators. Dante Fowler had two key sacks as the Gators held them to only one third down conversion extending their nations leading hold on that stat. Trey Burton led all receivers with 6 catches for 66 yards and a TD. For the second week in a row, a Gator player inexplicably trips up a teammate on the way to a TD, this week Quinton Dunbar knocking down Matt Jones who broke free.
