It was the eve before Christmas in my hometown of Tbar. A relaxing atmosphere was brewing, as was the beer. It was time for a general service on my swag vehicle, nothing too fancy. About 10 minutes into the inspection I am confronted by a 60 year man who claims to be a semi retired mechanic, but being in Harristown you learn not to trust anyone... he then proceeds to pull out the oil dipstick and says ahhh yep, Ill just check the carbon levels for you. Then he LICKS the oil and says, Mmm carbon, very good. I was in awe.... but he ensures me he has been doing it for 40 years and it is perfectly fine. As he leaves I asked why he doesnt own a mechanic shop and replies with, Oh I have throat cancer. And there you have it folks, its good to be home.
