It was the longest and most complicated awaiting time for these 4 - TopicsExpress

It was the longest and most complicated awaiting time for these 4 lucky kittens to finally start their travel to their loving homes. Longest, because they were too small, and with new restrictions on UK border, we needed to be certain, they will not be turned back, and most complicated, because there were so many changes, many difficulties with different things on the way, that I thought the travel will never happen. Today though I gave them to Antonio from For the love of cats and dogs and from that moment they will be closer to have beautiful lives with their new mummies. At the end, after few changes, Lilo (the ginger cat with one eye removed) did not want to get social and she lives in the wild way, being fed, but only from a distance. Also Chip ( Juan black kitten with one eye removed, that Irene from Cats and Dogs Aid Association has ) did not want to wait until the transport being confined in a restricting cage, he just wanted to go out and explore the world. He lives with other cats and kittens, that Irene is looking after, and is very happy free, but friendly. So at the end all four, that we have sent today are from my friend Carmen s colony: Tizz, Mitzy, Biscuit and Chip. Despite being together for such a long time and having contact with people, they are still extremely scared and would do not well in the colony, so it is perfect, that they found homes, where they can grow and adopt in their own time, being loved and looked after. I want to express my huge gratitude to my vet ESTHER, who saved me from total insanity this time. I had two kittens in the bathroom of old house and three in the designated room in the underbuild of the new one. As the moving was progressing and I was so busy being between two homes, having my own daughter and her friend requiring my attention all the time and my own animals to look after , seeing them scared the more stuff was removed from home - I had no choice, but to ask Esther to take them for the few remaining weeks, after Freddy left to Malaga. She did, even though there was not much room in the back, with groomer needing always cages and also with three other tiny kittens, that someone just left one morning in front of the vet, that required hand feeding. She took my four kittens, even though she knew her boss will not be happy having 4 big now kittens there taking space for so long. THANK YOU ESTHER !!!!! You saved me having a mental breakdown for sure! It was really too much for me to cope at once. Estherucha Mayor With the four going to UK on the 11th, I can say with the big relief, that all the cats and kittens from Carmens colony ( unfortunately except the last one, that her bad neighbours took somewhere to be put to sleep, for sure) are saved - either found homes or are living free in the place that I used to get them to start living there. They all are fed there ( the last and this month by my friend, that I asked to do it, because in August I had no time to go that far everyday and this month I just need break to get back onto my feet with some energy). BIG THANK YOU to GEORGE, a lovely man, the only nice neighbour of Carmen, that made all the effort and caught for me all the cats, that were not wanted there. And of course A HUGE THANK YOU to all, who adopted them: Caroline Draper, Kim Miller, Maria Fernanda Alonso Larrahona, Charlotte Charchie Kent, Moira Boyd. Also HUGE THANK YOU to all, who donated money along the way for all the costs that we need all the time. And to all, who helped to spread the word - especially Irene Ibáñez. Carmen, now you can really rest in peace. All your cats are save.....
