It was this time 12 months ago that my life was in the balance until a transplant co ordinator entered my room on Todd Ward, and said Wayne we think we might have a organ for you but we wont know until about 8 in the morning so try and get some sleep !!! I said you must be joking this could give me a new life how do you think I am going to sleep, I was on my own all night until I had to make a few phone calls to my family to say they had found a matching organ for me, It was not until 11 that morning that it was confirmed the organ was suitable and the rest is history, how I would like to personally thank the donors family but the system does not allow this to happen so I can only pass the word that organ donation works so please carry cards if you feel you can cos without them I would not be alive fact !!!! Thank you donor family for give me a life god bless you and happy birthday to me.
