It was very emotional again for all of us to realise that finally it seems to have come to his head that we are not here to harm him and these are not tears of pain, these are tears of joy because he cant feel pain at the moment. Just days after Raju was rescued by a team of conservationists, his badly-infected legs are healing and hes putting on weight. But his rescuers will never forget the sight of tears of joy rolling down his cheeks when he apparently realised he was being freed after half a century in spiked chains.
