It wasnt until I left the Charter School of Wilmington did I realize how much of a bubble I was in while at that school. We were not a very diverse group of students. I am asking that my fellow alum and current students take a moment to think about the privilege afforded to them in their lives, that provided them with the path to where they are today. I am asking my friends to think about racism and classism in the context of our high school, and I ask, do you truly believe we are in a post-racial society? Cecelia Lim Couldnt agree more.
