It will be 2022 before Democrats have a realistic shot at regaining the legislature. Ill be almost 60 by then. So it looks like I may very well lose my Social Security (into which Ive already paid for 35 years) before I get to file. Will the shiny new Republican-controlled House and Senate have the balls to impeach and toss out Obama? God knows that every conservative I talk to will earnestly claim there is a valid reason. Will they repeal the Affordable Care Act (end Obamacare) and let 20 million people lose their insurance while allowing insurance companies to begin new plundering? Who knows? A few things I am certain of are that the Supreme Court needs to take their Geritol for another decade, because any appointment made by a Democrat President will be denied. Charter Schools will quintuple, and education funding for state-run schools will evaporate. Tax breaks for the already positioned and wealthy will descend like little snowflakes of freedom. The list goes on. What will be interesting will be seeing Congress actually DO SOMETHING. They cant actually just sit there refusing to act any longer, since the Senate will be rubber-stamping their legislation. They can even dismiss annual budgets from the Executive Branch without comment. It will be an ugly and interesting decade. Circle the wagons.
