It will be 3 years ago tomorrow since we gathered around your bed to say our last goodbyes, something not everyone gets a chance to do when a loved one leaves us. A bitter sweet day for sure. Bitter in knowing we would never get to hug you, hear your voice or see you alive again, but sweet in knowing your pain and suffering were gone for eternity. As we watched you breathe your last breath and your natural color come back and the restful look on your face I am at ease knowing your suffering was over. As I have my morning cup of coffee on my way to work tomorrow I will enjoy it for both of us Momma. With tears in my eyes I say I love you and miss you always.
