It will take time for Danny to get back on his feet. He is doing well at home. He still has the feeding tube in place and drs are talking about removal of that soon. He is making short trips out of his home to the Dr and church. This episode is thought to have occured due to his medication decreasing respirations, causing a coma-state. The medicine was new to him, and now on his allergy list. With pneumonia this complicated his breathing. We are very fortunate that he is still with us, and thankful to God for his mercy. The family could tell the story a million times about being told he was deceased and then later finding out Danny was not just alive, but breathing without machines. No matter how many times the story is told, yes ....hospital staff clearly made mistakes and lacked compassion, but God intervened with his mercy that everyone else lacked. Beyond blessed....and forever changed! #prayersfordunn
