It with a heavy heart I said goodbye to my old friend today. My sweet Sammy. I took him to the vet to make him better. Seeing his Xrays I knew it was time for me to let him go. We had 14 years together. He loved me through some of the hardest times in my life. We raised 3 teenagers together, suffered loss of my grandparents, Birth of my grandson, the devastation declining health of my spouse. We weathered so many of lifes storms together. We also enjoyed the pool parties, hot dogs, ice cream. Snuggles on the sofa, sleeping late and snoring loud. My sweet old friend I truly will miss you.
