It wont be long before the Pheasants customers wont be able to fill our car park every evening. We have a condition on our evening opening that we must try to ensure customers leave quietly. Which is hard for our neighbours to complain about since none of them can see the front of our cafe and therefore cant be sure any noise is from our customers or the pub customers. And were getting CCTV fitted. Meanwhile, one of the conditions of having a pub is to ensure your customers dont cause an anti social nuisance, ie parking on or blocking neighbours land and access. Yet again our car park was full tonight. We cant open evenings until we recruit new staff, so they certainly werent our customers. Ill be raising this constant antisocial problem with Allerdale Borough Council on Monday morning. The pub has benefitted from our parking for years, itll stop BEFORE we open evenings.
