It would appear that Long Island means to keep me here thru mid-January so I can help my Mom transition at home (hopefully very soon) from her surgery, getting back into daily life! That being said, we may need some assistance from community members who would be willing to give a few hours per week to help her do daily things (shopping, cleaning, cooking, dressing etc) once I need to go back to Mt. Shasta...so thankful for the prayers, love and support we have gotten so far, its wonderful! Mom walked all around the Care center today with a walker, and is feeling good. She is making great progress, but like any surgery at age 82, her recovery will take a bit longer than if she were 32
