It would appear that decouplers and part clipping dont like me very much. The craft suffered a severe structural failure when the decouplers fired, resulting in all four round Z-1000 battery pack assemblies (totalling 8 individual battery units) being ejected from the craft, two of which violently exploded. This resulted in the loss of all four quad RCS thrusters and two solar panels. Somewhat puzzlingly, the fuel tanks did *not* detach as intended. Remaining maneuvers were conducted using surviving 48-7S engine, which fortunately survived. Remaining linear RCS ports proved adequate to maintain proper spacecraft pitch and yaw during re-entry, although this was not the intended spacecraft configuration for re-entry maneuvers. The additional mass placed far greater strain on the parachute system than originally designed, and although the capsule survived, the rest of the craft did not. Water landing was described as extremely violent by the pilot, and was attained at approximately 12 m/s.
