It would appear that the final nail in Americas coffin will come on Friday and administered by our very own president. I never thought I would see the death of my country while watching her people sit idly by, consumed with apathy, and allowing her to be fundamentally transformed before our very eyes....all by pen and paper (legislation). We died without the smallest resistance, without one bullet fired and all wrapped in deafening silence. I always believed true patriotism lied in the heart of every American and that the first sign of her decline or duress, we would rise against our foes and save our her without a second thought. Today, I stopped believing as the news of executive amnesty being executed Friday did not draw us to the streets or the steps of our house in DC. It did not bring about outrage or cries that it be stopped.....it was accepted and life continued without the batting of an eye. I have watched her crumble, slowly for 6 years and screamed for others to notice yet most could not have their daily lives interrupted or worry with having to acknowledge what was going on around their faux utopia. We can pass the buck, place blame here or there, but lets be honest....we are responsible as she belonged to us. Years of no government oversight, professional politicians, endless needless legislations and freedom sucking laws, etc....and this is where we are.....the death of a nation, our nation, the once great United States of America.
